Chantal & Corey
Chantal & Corey is a partnership between Chantal Labbé and Corey Biever. We specialize in Ceramics, having majored and completed our BVA and BVA Hons (First Class) at Sydney College of the Arts, the University of Sydney in 2007. We make a large variety of ceramic wares from wheel-thrown, to hand-built and also slip-cast. Our aim is to make quality handmade wares that bring joy and beauty into your every day life!
All our wares are handmade from quality porcelain, stoneware and midfire clays and glazes. All glazes are lead free and completely food safe. We take pride in our work! Just below are a few helpful tips to help you care for handmade ceramic wares.
HOW TO CARE FOR HANDMADE CERAMIC WARES
All functional wares can withstand every day use and are microwave, oven and dishwasher safe. Although, it is best to hand wash and air dry. It is also best to try and avoid thermal shock (extreme variations in temperature). Avoid this by keeping wares at room temperature before pouring in hot food.
